Units Offer Wide Input Voltages, Overstress Protection and Solar Power Integration
IRVINE, Calif. − Transtector, an Infinite Electronics brand and a leading provider of end-to-end power and signal integrity solutions, has just added to its line of indoor and outdoor DC power supplies. The 48Vdc power supplies are ideal for telco and industrial applications.
The indoor DC power supplies come in 2U rack-mount systems. They fully integrate DC power delivery requirements to include scalable DC rectification, a dedicated load breaker, battery backup, solar power integration and both local and remote configurations. The outdoor power supplies deliver DC power to outdoor loads in a compact form factor with versatile mounting options.
Transtector’s new indoor models cover a wide AC input voltage range and accept both single-phase and multi-phase AC power sources, whichever is available on site. They prevent equipment damage and fires by protecting against electrical overstresses and including a dedicated circuit breaker for battery backup protection.
The indoor units offer up to 9kW output power with three rectifier modules populated. A solar power module is included that integrates a solar power system into a DC power plant system. Loads can be monitored and managed remotely via IP protocol, and battery backup can be connected or disconnected remotely. Flexibility is built in with scalable rectifier modules.
Transtector’s new outdoor DC power supplies feature a wide AC input voltage range, accepting both single-phase and multi-phase AC power sources. Equipment includes electrical overstress prevention features. The modules are rated IP65 for operation in harsh conditions. They are compact and can be easily wall-mounted, pole-mounted or flag-mounted.
