Transtector Systems, part of the Protection Technology Group, is pleased to announce the launch of the 3DC48-20, a cost-effective solution to protect multiple dc lines in OSP and indoor applications.
The 48 Vdc / 20 A protector is designed to provide high surge current capacity and low let-through voltage. Complementing the I2R ICP, Transtector’s 3DC48-20 is developed to specifically protect remote radio head (RRH) applications, but can be used to shield any multi-line 48 Vdc application.
“Originally engineered as an alternative solution for a specific customer requirement, the 3DC48-20 has become a versatile, cost-effective option that fits a broad global application spectrum. The series will be further developed with a weatherproof version expected to be released shortly.” explains Mark Norrie, Director of Telecommunication Sales.
