Transtector Systems announces the release of DC Edge III, the newest addition to its power distribution panel family.
The DC Edge III is a highly versatile, compact and user-configurable circuit breaker panel for critical DC power distribution. It supports 19” and 23” rack/cabinet applications, providing branch circuit power to multiple DC loads including routers, switches, servers, radios and other mission critical equipment. The panel’s innovative design enables simple, front-access, snap-in circuit breaker configuration.
“To address the industry’s demand for small footprint devices, Transtector’s power distribution panels feature an industry-leading 1 Rack Unit (RU) height. With a broad operating voltage of +/-24 to 74 VDC and 16 total circuit breaker positions, the DC Edge III offers the highest density and most efficient use of space in the DC power systems market,” states Mark Norrie, VP of Sales.
In addition, the DC Edge III is UL listed and NEBS-3V certified to support a wide range of applications including central offices, data centers, Mobile Telephone Switching Offices (MTSO), Multiple System Operators (MSO), private and government networks as well as Land Mobile Radio (LMR).
