Transtector’s newly released rack/panel-mountable, reconfigurable DXR Series (digital exchange rack) is purpose-built for edge network nodes. Your network, business or data center require non-degrading, fast-acting, high performance surge protection for continuous operation. Transtector’s proven proprietary high performance, low impedance silicon surge protection is now available in a compact, reconfigurable, scalable cross connect.
The DXR Series T1/E1, 10/100BT, GigE and DS3 modules are available for individual sale or in one of the standard rack sized chassis. The cards are designed to meet UL 497A requirements. For human safety the cards incorporate fusing by opening the circuit in the event of power line and data line cross. The DXR chassis are front loading to allow the cards to be easily changed out as the customer’s network configuration requires.
System status monitoring for the Ethernet circuits and protection cards are determined through the built-in network polling functionality. The T1/E1 and DS3 cards provide troubleshooting monitors. Each BNC ring for the DS3 card are bonded to the chassis ground for signal integrity optimization and grounding. Standard rack sizes are available in two rack unit high chassis.

About Transtector Systems
Transtector is an international provider of power quality products including AC, DC, data and signal surge protection, communications power cabinets, EMP protection, lightning protection, and power quality engineering services. Established in 1967, Transtector was the first surge suppression designer to use non-degrading silicon diodes. Our patented, proprietary silicon avalanche suppressor diode (SASD) technology allows for less let-through voltage and lower clamp levels than other surge protection products. No one understands suppression and power quality issues like Transtector.
