Shenzhen Dowin Lightning Technologies Co., Ltd, part of the Protection Technology Group of Smiths Interconnect, today announces the successful completion of KEMA-KEUR certification for several Class 1 and 2 surge protection devices.
KEMA-KEUR is a globally recognized quality mark certifying the safety of electrical products according to the requirements of IEC 61643-1:2005, EN 61643-11:2002+A11:2007. Ongoing compliance with these standards for certified products and manufacturing locations will be monitored by global testing and certification organization DEKRA.
In an effort to better meet the needs of our customers in a variety of industries, DOWIN selected several DIN rail mounted devices that offer a maximum surge current capability (Imax) of 40 kA to undergo the demanding testing procedures of KEMA-KEUR. “Many industries depend on exceptionally reliable and safe products to minimize downtime and associated costs. Our investment in obtaining KEMA-KEUR certification confirms DOWIN’s commitment to excellence and provides our customers with a quality assurance by an objective third party auditor,” explains Frank Wang, General Manager DOWIN.
