The box is a rugged weatherproof enclosure that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Constructed from High-Impact, UV Resistant Polycarbonate material that provides superior durability to impacts and ease of modification while maintaining minimum weight. It is well suited for high temperature or corrosive environments. The shallow depth design while maintaining industry standard height/width dimensions is ideal for low profile applications.
Molded-In Mounting feet allow the enclosure to be mounted directly to any flat wall surface provided proper screws are used into secure studs. The Mounting feet have a slotted opening design and (with minor modification to enlarge the opening for the hardware) can also be used with our TEF-PMT pole mount kits. Compatible versions include TEF-PMT13, TEF-PMT16, TEF-PMT28, TEF-PMT29, TEF-PMT30, & TEF-PMT33
The lid features a non-metallic hinge system that allows for quick removal & can be reattached just as quickly without the need for any tools. The Lid also comes with a non-metallic locking hasp to secure the enclosure from tampering.
Brass inserts included for mounting a backplate. Both Aluminum (TEF-PLATE24) and Non-Metallic (TEF-PLATE25) backplates are available (sold separately). Built-in DIN rail mounting embosses on the inside back wall provide multiple mounting hole positions to accommodate your unique DIN rail install requirements minimizing the need for on-site modifications. The recommended hardware for mounting to these mounting embosses is #10-14 Phillips Rounded Head Thread-Forming Screws for Plastic, 18-8 Stainless Steel, 1/4" Long.
