In cooperation with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, FAA and other government agencies as well as military prime contractors, Transtector is working to ensure mission critical electronics are protected from all threats, following the guidelines of MIL-STD-188-125-1 (permanent facilities), MIL-STD-188-125-2 (land mobile vehicles) and MIL-STD-461. These standards establish baseline performance and testing requirements for high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) hardening of fixed and transportable ground based facilities which perform mission critical C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) tasks.
