With its circuit’s unique surge handling capabilities, Transtector’s 240V SuperHy is the next generation hybrid surge protector. Transtector has engineered a 240V circuit that protects sensitive electronics from frequent surge damage and extraordinary surge currents.
The compact, 35mm, design incorporates non degrading, fast reacting, low clamping silicon on a circuit that channels only high surge currents to MOVs (metal oxide varistors). This surge protector’s circuit design prolongs the life of the robust MOV components while providing non degrading surge protection performance for day to day surges.
Configured with visual and remote status indication, the SuperHy 240V protects DIN rail configured AC load centers and power distribution systems. It is tested to the latest revision, 2005, International Electric Code 61643-1. Whether your facility has communications, automation medical equipment or other sensitive electronics, the SuperHy is the ultimate in protection and reliability.

About Transtector Systems, A Smiths Group Business
Transtector is an international provider of power quality products including AC, DC, data and signal surge protection, communications power cabinets, EMP protection, lightning protection, and power quality engineering services. Established in 1967, Transtector was the first surge suppression designer to use non-degrading silicon diodes. Our patented, proprietary silicon avalanche suppressor diode (SASD) technology allows for less let-through voltage and lower clamp levels than other surge protection products. No one understands suppression and power quality issues like Transtector.
